Double Dosage is a native Los Angeles Rap duo comprised of artists Loot and Juse. Loot and Juse met in middle school where they found a common ground in their love and appreciation of music, the chemistry is apparent in their songs. Straying away from the conventional rhetoric, they are two of the most versatile up and coming mc’s to date.

Double Dosage released their first project “Loot, Juse, Respect Vol. 1” in 2009, which is a play off of the phrase “Money Power Respect”, and have been constructing their extensive resume ever since.

Double Dosage adopted the philosophy and understanding early on that they would build their empire from the ground up, and found it only right to title their 2010 project “The Construction” a self proclaimed street album.

Within two years, Double Dosage has successfully managed to get themselves mainstream radio airplay on 93.5 KDAY, numerous satellite stations such as 210 West Radio and The Wave in the Philippines. The Wave featured two of their songs on Valentines day and entitled the set “A Double Dose with Double Dosage.” They have been featured in The Source, XXL Magazine, and Kababayan LA. In addition, they have won numerous music competitions, the most notable being “2010’s I Run L.A. Competition” sponsored by Starr Strucc Entertainment, Interscope Records, Universal, and Konvict Muzik. In lieu of the devastating Typhoon Ondoy that struck the Philippines in September of 2010, Double Dosage took it upon themselves to donate their services and assist in raising funds for the relief efforts over seas.

The city of Carson recognized their efforts and awarded them two Certificates of Recognition for their special performances and dedication. Staying true to their philosophy of independence and hard work, Double Dosage has filmed and directed their own music videos, successfully creating a huge online buzz with over 100,000 views collectively. Double Dosage is becoming the new face of Los Angeles and aims to bring hip hop back to its roots – serving as a voice for the people and community.
